Thorough Consultation

Dr. Lubart will conduct a detailed evaluation of your gums and each tooth at our Jackson or Rockaway office. If you have any cavities, gum disease, or other factors that affect your candidacy, we can discuss your next steps.

Preparation

Veneers are considered a permanent procedure because some tooth enamel must be removed to properly prepare your teeth for veneers placement. Dr. Lubart will remove a small amount of enamel and reshape your teeth as necessary.

Digital Impressions

Rather than relying on outdated, potentially gag-inducing dental impressions, we utilize an iTero® intraoral scanner to create 3D visuals of your newly reshaped teeth. 

Lab Creation

We send your impressions to the New York-based dental lab operated by Jason Kim, a renowned ceramist who works with movie stars. After Mr. Kim spends about two weeks crafting your customized veneers, they are sent back to our office.

Final Placement

You will return for your final appointment, during which Dr. Lubart will clean your teeth and gently etch your enamel to prepare for a strong bond between your natural teeth and your veneers. She then attaches the wafer-thin shells and polishes them.

Dental bonding is sometimes referred to as composite veneers. This option and porcelain veneers, however, are really not comparable. Composite resin stains just like natural teeth and lasts just 5-7 years, while porcelain is very stain-resistant and can last for more than a decade.
